The Mavericks received a good mashing from the Spudlers of Tiverton on their home alley, which led to the elimination of the Mavericks from the championships. The second leg proved the killer blow when J. Bawden's 18 and R. Lowman's brilliant 26, turned 31 after 5 into 84 to give a 20 pin advantage. Note only 5 legs are played in this competition instead of our more usual 6.
